Demilitarise Cambridge demonstration

We’ll be sending a clear message to the university administration: we will not tolerate being complicit in war crimes and illegal occupations across the world. The university is propping up some of the worst-offending arms companies in the world – from BAE Systems to Rolls Royce – companies whose profits are stained with blood.

As a community we are coming together to say: not in our name. With enough of us on the streets, and putting pressure on the university, we can, and we will, demilitarise Cambridge.

We’ll be outside Great St. Mary’s on Monday 1st November 12-2pm. There will be speeches, demonstration and we’ll be distributing information about the university’s complicity in human rights violations across the world. Some placards will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
